It is amazing how much learning goes on when we aren't looking. All three of my kids are good cooks. They came from a home that fixed their meals every night (at least!). I don't ever remember teaching them how to cook, but they tell me that none of their friends cook, they come to their place for a good meal.

How affirming this is, that your daughter that doesn't give you much feedback, has given you feedback on something you love, in the most positive way possible. I am so glad that you still have times between you that you are surprised, and humbled.

The quilt is beautiful, but, you're absolutely right - it's special because you dear daughter helped you make it.

Who knows what she'll do next?

Brought tears to my eyes too, how wonderful for both of you to be able to share this special time. I am hoping for many more of these experiences for both of you. Hugs and smiles.
