Wow you sure were quick in completing your quilt...lovely job... Can you share and hints for making this one? Did the bias give you any issues and and did you have twisted seam from matching seams? Would appreciate any hints you would care to share.

Your quilt turned out great. I am "afraid" of this quilt because of how in-exact the process looks in the MSQ video and how many seams and points there are.

If you look close you will see I turned one of the blocks wrong. No way am I ripping that out as a non quilter would never notice or care.
So if I am understanding you, you cut your initial squares at 9.5 inches, then made the half square triangles and sewed together into a 4 patch which at that point it was 12 inches square so you were able to sub-cut into 3 pieces of 4 inches?

And then in the end when you squared up your final block from 10.25 to 10 inches, that doesn't cut off points or anything?

I absolutely love that, especially the turned wrong block.

Beautiful quilt. Took me a while to find the block but you're so right. It makes no difference. Adds personality! Very kind of you to donate this to a service person.

This one is on my list. No one will notice with out you telling them. Very nicely done. I'm going to start saving the 9.5 inch square from my scraps. Thanks for sharing.
