Took me a long time to see the error. The quilt is beautiful.

Very nice. The block turned differently gives it character.

So if I am understanding you, you cut your initial squares at 9.5 inches, then made the half square triangles and sewed together into a 4 patch which at that point it was 12 inches square so you were able to sub-cut into 3 pieces of 4 inches?

And then in the end when you squared up your final block from 10.25 to 10 inches, that doesn't cut off points or anything?
Exactly---the points are way far away from the edge. I did lose a little of the triangles at the corners and they were not exactly the same size. I do not try for perfection by any stretch of the imagination. I wanted the finished blocks to be the same size for ease of sewing them into rows. I also squared up the big triangles before sewing them together but I cannot remember what size---I think it was 7 1/4???

I agree with you. The block that was turned will never be noticed by a non-quilter. Nice job

Lovely. I like the block you twisted wrong. Make a whole quilt with twisted-wrong blocks.

Beautiful!! Love the colors! I too had to look HARD to find the 'error'? This pattern is on my 'to do list'...
