    mugrugs

While looking everywhere for a crib board... I unearthed patterns I had printed out from fatcatpatterns.com One was Sticky Fingers gecko pattern and the other has a 2011 date on it... for a Featherweight and I can't see it on the site anymore....but.... I did complete them both, the gecko one is really only big enough for a mug.... the Featherweight one said it would be 6 x 9 but I fused mine down first and then decided 8 x 12" would be the better size. The gecko I machine satin stitched and the Featherweight I fused & appliquilted with a straight stitch.

they both came out great. i used to visit fatcatpatterns years ago for free patterns, but then they changed it and were charging for their designs. i rarely visit now. you can find the same things on pinterest.

great job on both of them.
put off till tomorrow what you can do today, and if you procrastinate long enough, you may never have to do it.

I am not on pinterest. I love her designs and if you follow her site you will find things pop up for free that you/I like! That is how I recently got the gecko pattern.... it says 2017 on my print out.....

I had also posted this photo in the FB Featherweight group I belong to and someone there googled and found the free pattern was still available for the Featherweight. Here is the link that she posted for it. http://riverquilters.org/bom/11/bomMarch2011.pdf (maybe that's where I also found it in 2011 rather than on fatcat site, sorry I don't remember)

Fatcat website has lots of free patterns. Most are free for a while then she charges for them later. I also printed out the gecko. No idea where I put it. She recently had a BOM that was free with fishing lures. It was really cute.

How cute is that! I am thinking I would like to make some mug rugs for Christmas. Thanks for the idea.

"Little quilts" are so much fun to have and use. These are really nice and will spice up tea or coffee time. I like the featherweight.
