This is simply loverly!! Think you'll have great sewing experiences in your new building. A word of caution: Do not leave the bottom open so that critters can have a hiding space (skunks leave a horrible odor as I'm sure you know.) Also, make sure you make a large DO NOT DISTURB sign to hang on the door.

Your DH has raised the bar for all the other DH's out there. I have a nice sized room (11x17) too. You will love this.

Don't think we could do that in MN - too cold, but what a great idea for you!! Congrats. Be sure to post pics when it's done.

Love your "soon-to-be". My first thought was,'I wonder if she will have a barn quilt?'Since that has already been addressed, why don't you ask for ideas from the QB on how to design your "quilt block".

Not just a quilt studio/room, no a whole quilt house. Woohoo! Keep us posted I can not wait to see it all. That is a pretty good size too.

I think up to a certain size and if it is on skids then you can call it a garden shed. I have several structures like that and we were ok because of the size and because they are on skids. Ours are tiny though, one is a playhouse for the kids and one is a garden shed.
