LOL that's how I felt after taking a class for English Paper Piecing. Spent 8 hours sewing enough hexagons & 1" squares together to make an 8" block. Multiply that times how many blocks for a quilt? I'll stick to machine piecing thank you very much. :)

I love it! I agree with you about never making a whole quilt. I did a pillow and it was a fun way to do the cathedral windows without going overboard. lol

one of my first quilts was a catherdal window. It quickly got downsized to a crib quilt. I love the look of them but it would take me a lifetime to make a big one.

LOL, very pretty! It reminds me of my one try at hand piecing hexagons...I have a darling pin cushion but I'll never do them again.

Your pot holder is very pretty, but I think I would frame that $20.00 pretty and hang it on the wall :)
