Beautiful work. I also love the fabrics you used. I am impressed that anyone can do this kind of work when it is their first time. Congratualtions.

I,too, am doing my first applique block. After ripping out a couple of seams here and there, it's starting to click. I think yours' look great and I can already see improvement in mine.

I will bet yours look better than you think!
I think mine look much like the drawings children do with the fat crayons, but am hoping to improve with each block.
