What an adorable design you carried out for this quilt- I love the look of it. I have never sewn with flannel, so the hints of all the experienced ones are being taken in- Thanks for the advice, all you quilters, and thanks for sharing your cute quilt cjomomma!

Your quilt is really adorable. I like to use flannel for the back of baby quilts - soft, warm, won't slip off, etc. but have never done BOTH sides in flannel. I can see where that might be a little "shifty" for you. My favorite use of flannel is for lining things - crafty projects, bags, runners - and I make sure to pin like crazy to keep things square. It looks great to me!

I think you have done a great job! I make all of my baby blankets from flannel and love working with it. :)

I love your flannel quilt!!
Flannel is tricky but use a walking foot for sure!!
You'll have it easier next time!!
Looks soft & comfy!!.

Thank you very much. I was using my walking foot and it broke. So I am out of luck on that. So I decided to do a 1/4in seam around inside the blocks and the borders. Wish me luck!!!!

Very cute. I believe I have these same fabrics and was planning on making something very similar. Thanks for sharing.
