My 1st bargello is finished - greens!

Just wanted to share my first finished bargello project. How to quilt it was such a hard decision, but I decided to 'meander' up and down the pattern to try to accentuate the curves, and copied the swirly-Q pattern from the darker fabric onto the border (I used my 31-15 treadle for the fm). Kinda hard to see in the pics. I can't wait for DH to hang it in my new office. Hopefully it'll help to create a more peaceful atmosphere in there. :)

This looks great! When you FMQ do you do that on the treadle too?

Oh, btw, this was my first fm quilting project done on my Industrial Singer 31-15 treadle. Worked great with the larger harp space. I was able to use a Juki hopping foot. Lot of fun!

You know, I didn't even see where you wrote the peaceful sentence when I was writing the word restful!
