Just wanted to share my first finished bargello project. How to quilt it was such a hard decision, but I decided to 'meander' up and down the pattern to try to accentuate the curves, and copied the swirly-Q pattern from the darker fabric onto the border (I used my 31-15 treadle for the fm). Kinda hard to see in the pics. I can't wait for DH to hang it in my new office. Hopefully it'll help to create a more peaceful atmosphere in there. :)

Oh, btw, this was my first fm quilting project done on my Industrial Singer 31-15 treadle. Worked great with the larger harp space. I was able to use a Juki hopping foot. Lot of fun!

You know, I didn't even see where you wrote the peaceful sentence when I was writing the word restful!
I think it worked! At least from my viewpoint :D:D

This one was a lot of fun and very simple (once I wrapped my brain around the process!), but I think my next one will be Surf Song. Just love the movement on that pattern. I really enjoy the fm part on the treadle...

Very pretty! Your quilting looks great- I like how the border quilting matches some of the swirls in the fabric.

    Your quilt is beautiful.

Long ago i did everything on a treadle---and cannot wait till Rebekah is ready so I can do so again.

What is a 'hopping foot"? I have never heard that term!
