Default My 1st landscape quilt!! I'm pretty proud of it. ;-)

I've only ever taken one class at a quilt shop before. It was on all sorts of applique. I haven't done any since. I was the only student and I told the teacher not to bother showing me raw edge applique because I didn't like it. Haha! I went to visit family in Oregon a couple of weeks ago and 3 of us took a landscape class from Tresa at "Quilts by Nature". It was so fun!! We spent the better part of the day cutting, placing, gluing, and attaching it with clear thread. The next day at my cousin's house I spent several hours quilting it! Then another day I did the binding and sleeve to hang it from. Now to find a hanger for it. It's going in my sewing room. Walls are light gray, with blue and yellow curtains at the window.
1st picture is through the steps of clear thread. 2nd picture is after all of the quilting.

Very pretty. It gives me the feeling that I am walking through a garden.

You're making me want to try that technique. My to-do list is getting so long
