Default My 1st Queen Quilt - quilt pattern is named "Amazing"

This is my first quilt that I quilted on my new 15" mid-arm machine. I FMQ-ed the loops in the strips. It was my 1st attempt to FMQ on an actual quilt.

It is very simple in comparison to those I see on here..but hey...I have to start somewhere.

I'm very pleased with how it turned out. It measures 84x84 and has a Warm and Natural batting. I used white thread everywhere except the appliques patches on the borders. I used verigated on them. I regret it though, I think white thread would have looked nicer. However, I'm satisfied with the overall look.

I used my leftover white and scraps to make the pillow cases. I used a pattern called "Burrito" on the web, to make them. It is sometimes called "sausage" pillow cases.

I love the texture you gave this. The colors in the quilt are pretty and the matching pillow cases are the perfect finishing touch.

Nice work! I did that same pattern in my son's school colors for his HS grad.
