What part of Indiana? I'm from the northwest (a little town named San Pierre. It is south of Michigan City about 25 miles)

Your quilt is just beautiful. My favorite color is purple also or any thing in that line. Most of my quilts have some of that color in it. You did a great job and keep up the good work. Marilyn

:D Wonderful job! I love that you even used stripes in it - I was afraid to use any sort of 'one-way' fabric for years. ;-) I'll be looking forward to seeing what's next....

I am soo glad that you machine quilt! :D My girlfriends husband once made the mistake of syaing something about it not being a real quilt unless it's done by hand. Poor guy will never open his mouth again. She's probably sewn it shut by now. :!:

Too bad I can't send you the quilt I made my sister in law last year for Christmas - she did not like it - I could tell by her reaction - I did not like it - I do not like green/purple - SO I now have it and do not know what to do with it!! I was NOT offended by her not liking it - - - I completely understood... :)

I don't like purple either, but I sure do like this quilt - it is very pretty and would look wonderful anywhere - a far better first quilt than mine - I just asked my husband this morning if he still likes my first one - after about 25 or more others - he said, "Yes, it's your first one."!!! He's so wonderful!! We'll keep it forever - it is on our bed and we use it all the time!!
