Beautiful Tiffany decals. She is a beauty!
I learned to treadle with the machine unthreaded top and bobbin, with a piece of fabric under the foot so I could see that the machine was going in the right direction. Keeping your feet on the pedal seems to help too.
I do quite a bit of quilt piecing with my treadles.

That machine is absolutely gorgeous! Love the designs on the base and the throat. Lovely! I learned to sew on a treadle machine. Loved the rhythm of it. Never ran over my fingers either like I did with an electric machine. :shock: Jan

Do all of you who have these machines actually use them and how or why? Or are they strictly for decoration?
