My aunt has two featherweights. One for her home in Maine and one for her home in Florida.

She has other machines, but she only sews on her featherweights.

She just loves them.

Lucky lucky you! Looks like a great machine. My Grandma sewed on a treadle and my Mom had a Phaff. Both were work horses for the times.

Thanks! Rita is the girl! I had a Burnina that I ended up hating. And that machine was so expensive and broke down all the time.

And CarolW: If I could have a home in Maine and a home in Florida, I would give up the Featherweight!

Where did he find such a nice one. I am wanting one to carry back and forth the class....not sure what a good price to pay? I have been told to buy one from e-bay but not confortable with doing that...never know what you will get.
