    I started quilting this year, and I wanted a fun, bright summer quilt. This one is super bright but I love it, and I think it will be very cheerful towards the end of winter. I did simple horizontal quilting as I was too nervous to try out free motion just yet.

    This is a pattern from the book "The Modern Quilt Workshop"

    Very creative and lively! Did you come up with this pattern yourself? I really like it! And it's definitely summery!
