it was fun. had the 12" block pattern from one of my BOM projects. i think it's my favorite block ever.

the print in the middle says 'i cannot count my day complete 'til needle, thread and fabric meet. - author unknown' (little picture of spool of thread and needle)

    you like?

    here it is bigger

That's a great looking block. What is the name of the pattern. I think that I'd like to make one of those for my sampler quilt.

i haven't a clue what the name of the block is - we got the instructions from the local quilt shop as part of last year's block of the month. it's basically flying geese and half-square triangles though.

the little graphic is a spool of thread with a needle through it. it's actually ink on fabric that was treated with BJ2000.

I like the block design, but I also like the floral fabric. I made a quick bedspread about a year ago with the same fabric.

I love the block and the sentiment. Like other's, I would like to know the name of the block. It looks like it's all half square triangles. Very nice and it looks perfect. Good job. Thanks for sharing.

i think i would be allowed to post the instructions? but i don't want to infringe upon anyone's rights :?:

Love that block! Will have to keep an eye out to try to make one myself. Thanks for sharing. Of course, I am partial to blues so that makes it even better.
