I've made myself blind trying to match the checkered board fabric at corners - can't imagine having to match all the fabrics you've done! You are either insane, masochistic, or tenacious! Kudos to you for creating such a stunning quilt. Thanks for sharing.

Well, I'll admit to be slightly loco occasionally, but I'm also a Virgo - so, I wouldn't give in. The border wasn't that hard to match at the corners since it was a perfectly square design. Only problem I had was the quilt was 1/4" shorter on one side so I had to shorten one border without losing the design.

I love the pattern and the fabulous material choices you made!!! That border really goes "wahh wahh" with the eyes!!! The center is totally cool! Good job, grandma, this is an A+++++!!! Matt is so lucky!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Omg...kudos to YOU...especially on matching those borders!...and the uniqueness of the entire quilt in general...so much focus and precision and a Very thoughtful gift...bless your heart. The quilt is probably right up his alley
