Default My Boutique Flowers --Finished Quilt

I have had this folded up for a while and thought I would share it. It was my first time making up a quilt without any pattern. I wanted something that resembled flowers. This is the Boutique line by Chez Moi. I recently finished a quilt top using Couquette by Chez Moi as well. This was one of those times where you don't necessarily like all the colors in the line but you use them and then they look so much better than you thought they did originally (particularly the gold color I was not fond of).

Also, it is one of only a few quilts I have made for myself (I have given 5 others away as gifts and have a closet full of quilt tops that need to be quilted) that is completely finished.

I can see where the quilt has already been a bit distorted by being folded too long. I don't have a spare bed to stack my quilts on right now, so I will have to develop a method of rolling them to better preserve.

I really like how the dark blue binding frames the quilt. The backside fabric was my favorite print from this line and if I had more I would just make a whole quilt, front and back with just this fabric!! I have about 4 yards of this print in the pink color and played around with color photocopies of it to use for a OBW, but it is much prettier uncut so I didn't do that.

Thanks for looking.
