I have started my Christmas Quilt. I make one each year for someone in the family. This year it will go to my SIL. She has had a very tough year so decided to pick her.

I am using the Honey Bee block with Mary Engelbrite fabrics. Here is what my block will look like:

Beautiful. Is your family looking to adopt? It doesn't matter that I'm 52 & I come complete with husband and kids & grandkids. LOL

really pretty block--are you hand appliqueing? How big is the quilt going to be? You are ambitious! There is no way I could start now and be finished with a quilt by Christmas!!

Machine applique...No time for hand work!! It is not a great big quilt....playing it by ear for now! LOL! The blocks are 10" finished.

Thanks for all the kind words. Seems I do my best work when I am crunching for time! But at this point it is the only way....Working and running a farm takes alot of time too!! LOL!! Wish me luck!
