Oh yes! Would you like to see an example? These 2 fabrics went together.....until I made a block out of them. Now they are orphans in my "orphan block" drawer. Eventually I'll make a quilt out of all of my orphans. Not all my orphans are mistakes. Some are extras or just changed my mind or whatever. Thank you for liking my work and calling it beautiful!

Actually, yes, but not together! I like the idea of orphan blocks, instead of file 13 filler!

Really nice!! I can see that you do not shy away from the more complex patterns. Good for you!!! They come out looking great.

Yes, it is a great pattern for scraps! I've made several of these quilts. I made each of the blocks in this quilt with the same colors, but it would be just as pretty with all the blocks being different except for the main row, 'chain' running through it.
