When I go Los Angeles in a few weeks, I am going to buy my grandson a sewing machine...
he is 7 years old, his Mom does not sew....
but she is so proud that I am learning to sew that she is willing to learn yourself.

THEY CAN DO SOME SCRAP CRAZY PIECE QUILT THINGY THEMSELVES....

I am sure once the quilt top starts to come together, my grandson will be hooked.

He is so proud of the crazy quilt I made for him....and trust me, it is all wrong...as it was my first one.

I will take him shopping to get his fabric....

PLEASE KEEP POSTING YOUR PICTURES OF YOUR DAUGHER'S PROJECT.

I will show my grandson your daughter's picture!!!!

It looks like she has a good start. Tell her to have fun from all the people on the board.

It's good to get them started early if they show an interest. She'll probably be out-shining you in a few years. lol

Did she choose the fabrics herself? I really like them! And the pictures - are they drawn with regular crayons or is there something special for drawing on fabric? Can you tell I don't have any little ones around? Love her drawings; that's going to be a really pretty quilt.
