It's a lovely housewarming gift for her!
I made this quilt for my GS 2cd birthday and my daughter thinks it 's hers she loves it so much. Fond memories from the book.

I think it is great gift more of us need to do sensible things like this during these trying financial times.I would put the binding on so it would be totally completed. It is so much better having it done instead of it being forgotten about and becomming a UFO . If she likes plants, I always like to give a money tree plant as a house warming gift this would be bout 10 bucks ,if you feel you need to give something else.
