You are blessed with a beautiful daughter. I love the fabric she picked as I am sure she is as well. Thanks for sharing her and her quilt.

Everything about this quilt is wonderful! I love your label and the vintage towel on the back.

Bet she loves her new quilt. I like what you've done on the back, too.

... I have been really fortunate to have found a new quilt shop here in Austin that is extremely kid friendly. That's a huge deal...

This is a huge deal. Last fall my daughter and I (and two year old grandson who learned to say Fat Quarter) spent September participating in "Quilt Across Texas". Goodness, we visited between 30 and 40 quilt shops. To this day I've only returned to the stores that were 'kid friendly'.

Your 'grown up' quilt is so pretty. Love the colors. Love the quilting. Love that you used your grey backing on the 'wrong' side because you like the texture. Lots of things I do when I quilt, I do because I like it.

I think Ellie's 'big girl' desire has been captured by both of you in this sweet 'girly' quilt. I think it is so great that she picked out the fabric and pattern. Your idea of the 'vintage hand embroidered dish towel' on the back is very clever and has given me a whole new set of ideas! Thank you for sharing.
