Relax, Mom, breathe. Enjoy your time apart. When she comes back and she wants to do something quilty, make sure you have lots of time to do it so there can be rest periods. I suspect the time constraints for gettng these done before THE TRIP added to the frustrations. And it is so interestng that kids can be nice when it is not family involved. :?
When she is older, she will only remember that she got to make these presents. Give her a big hug before you send her off to St.Louis. (BTW, it is HOT here right now!)

You can't believe this right now, but I only remember the GOOD things now - DD is 46 and DS in 45. I KNOW there WERE times when I clenched my jaws and ground my teeth, but my memories are of the happy times! Now DD has a 17 year old, and DD's grinding HER teeth. DGD is dropping by with DSIL for a visit this afternoon - grandma heaven!

It was so sweet of Sophie to make quilts for Sarah and Josie! And they are all darling! I love the pictures! I'm a grandma, so I'm a sucker for little girls pictures! My GDG is 17 - well past the little girl stage - buit still my darlin'!

Yes, little miss Sophia is as sweet and big-hearted as they come. UNTIL she doesn't want to be. Then she's an unbelievable bear...

She loves her little cousins and they worship her! she spends a lot of time taking care of them, learning how to babysit. She's in charge, and they love it!

I'm almost over how mad I was yesterday and this morning...
