That is truly one of the MOST beautiful quilts I have seen. You did a wonderful and creative job. You stayed true to Jane in design but you surpass her in interpretation. Love it.

Patti - it's absolutely gorgeous! I really like the chocolate background. It's amazing how the dark color really makes the intricate work on all those tiny blocks stand out - like it should!!!!!!!!!! It wasn't until I started reading everyone's comments that I looked at your pictures again and realized that the designs in the outer triangles were trapunto and machine quilting. STUNNING! This quilt will win awards, and we'll be saying 'We knew her before she became famous.' Please, please, please enter it in contests.

And I'm proud to say that I have one of your blocks from last year's DJ Christmas block exchange in MY DJ Christmas quilt. I posted a picture in October.

Absolutely breathtaking! And thank you for sharing this with us--it has been an inspiration to me to make one of these some day...

Are you saying that you did that amazing quilt, pieced, appliqued, and hand quilted it in ONE year???? ONE year!!!! Unbelievable, does not compute! Did you work on it 10 hours a day? Did you eat or sleep during the last year?

Stunning - beautiful fabric selection and love the border treatment. This has inspired me to get back to and continue working on my Baby Jane - about 39 of the blocks that I have already finished have been sitting on one of my shelves for about a year. Thanks for sharing your beauty!

This is absolutely beautiful! All I could say white looking at your pictures was, "Oh my... Oh my!" Congratulations on your accomplishment! And, by the way, I like your kitty!
