How very beautiful. It looks so complicated. I can't even begin to think of trying this pattern yet. I am a very slow learner and I hand quilt all of my quilts. Keep on quilting, you do wonderful work. :-D

Absolutely Gorgeous !!! Your hand quilting is perfectly flawless. You did such a great job and the scalloped border really sets it off.

Gorgeous! I like how the colors radiate from the center. I have the Dear Jane EQ software, maybe I'll actually be inspired to make it now!

What a wonderful sight to behold and to wake up to first thing this morning!!! It is DAZZLING to say the least. I will never be able to achieve that level of detail and perfection. And I will never be patient enough to hand quilt. That is a sure prize winner.

I hope you are keeping this quilt for yourself - it is absolutely stunning. I can't imagine how much time you have into it. I personally don't have the patience - I get bored after working on a quilt for a while and am anxious to get started with the next one!

Lesley, you are amazing. Finished in 6 months! I started my Dear Jane quilt in July of last year. I belong to a club that provides lessons for each block. We receive 6 blocks per month. I am way behind. But I love every minute of the process of making the blocks. I agree it is addicting. Just wish I had the time to let it rule my life! Your quilt is very beautiful. I love your colors. Mine is made with a muslin like background and Civil War reproduction fabrics. thanks for the inspiration of your achievement in completing it so quickly and wonderfully! Congratulations!

Your quilt is fantastic. I wish I could stick to one project like that. That is such a challenge of your skills and persistence.

OMG, Lesley, that is absolutely one of the most beautiful quilts I have ever seem......It is magnificent.

What are you going to do with it....hang it, sleep under it, or enter it in any show....looks like a winner to me.

Thank you. I started quilting the blocks around half way, when I had done most of the applique ones, and needed something to do in the evenings. Once I had quilted all the blocks I had done up to that point, I quilted each group of blocks as I made them, so that by the end of making the blocks, they were already quilted, and ready to assemble.

I slept under it for a few weeks, until my daughter said I should enter it into a show. The biggest one here isn't until next July, so I took it off the bed in case it got something spilled on it or whatever.

I have to say that it was a delight to sit up in bed and look at all those blocks in front of me. The eye seems to dart from one block to another block, rather like looking at a bed full of flowers
