Beautiful...quilt and little girl. She did so well at this I was remembering the sew and flip method where you put batting on the backing and the strips on top and sew one and flip and add on another etc. so when done it is quilted to the backing. If you do it on a flannel shirt opened at the shoulders and sleeves removed, it makes a nice quilted vest with a flannel lining or you can do the opened sleeves the same way and replace them to make a jacket. She could do it I'm sure.
