Started the process of sandwiching a UFO before my coffee was gone this A.M. Measured, pieced and pressed backing. Thought I had enough batting left on my roll. NOT!! LQS not open yet. Plan B... Take out some PP Harry Potter blocks to fill the time. Phone rings. My DD wants me to go with her to grocery shop. Plan C...will pick up a batt and other stuff I need on her gas money. As we are about to leave my DH told me he had something for me from his DM. OMG, it can only be ONE thing. YES!! Born circa Dec. 12, 1952. This little machine has the heart of a lion. It has taken on the clothing for a family of four, drapes, blue jeans and even the canvas rag top for a convertible car. And my MIL has taken the best care of it. I didn't get to quilt today but, it was an awfully good day anyway.( P.S. It did come with a pile of pants to hem, though.)

Holy Cow! Wonderful! Congratulations. I've been hearing so much about this little machine. I think eventually I'm going to have to get one.

Congratulations on your new FW!!!
I laughed when I saw the last picture of the Buttonholer.
My husband just bought the same thing at a yard sale yesterday. I asked him what was I supposed to do with it.
He said to make holes for buttons, with a smirk.

Nice machine you have there. Enjoy!
