I agree with Jan.....also for future plans on crosshatching (or other quilting designs) 6" is too far apart for the quilting. Even on wall hangings. It will sag and buldge and droop. It will not hold up to "the test of time".

Very pretty. I'd quilt following the lines of the tree branches and crossing the blue strips, then SID along the borders. I think the "art"quilting in the center would really emphasize the tree.
