This quilt top is made from all my DD's old uniform tops. There were two of them I had made, so I still have some of the fabric left. The tops I used most of, even piecing smaller pieces together to have enough. At the moment it is 75" square. My DD has a queen size water bed so I know I will have to make it bigger.
The pieces I have left, are one light and one of the bluegreen with the flowers on it. I think I might have to add another border of fabric not in the top. What would you do? I am open to suggestions.
This will be my first attempt at feathers for the quilting. I think they would go well with this design.

how about a white border or try to match the pink fairly close and use that.

I love the blue. Maybe a blue border.

I think a pink or blue pastel border would coordinate with those lovely colors. Your quilt is beautiful. Good job.

I would put a solid dark color thin border that would set it off then put borders to make it larger using some of the colors used in the quilt until it gets to the size you want. Just my opinion. It is beautiful so far.

Looks beautiful.
I would use the 2 border approach as well. A narrow border in the blues, then if you could find a fabric that has a lot of the colors from inside the quilt, make a wider border from that. I like to bind darker than my outside border if it is a lighter color and so maybe you can bind in a pink, or blue or something a little darker that is multicolored.

How cute is that! Any of those colors would be great for a border!

Likin' this one! Guessing these were the tops of scrubs... and wouldn't it be cool to use the bottoms (usually solid colors, right) to make some piano keys, or some 4 or 9 patch blocks for a border or two?

So cute - great job. I also like the idea of a small inner border, then a larger outside one. Maybe some medical related fabric? I could also see it finished with prairie points.

i always use the darkest color on the outside. light colors tend to get soiled easily no matter how well we treat them. very nice job.
