My first all solid quilt - quilting suggestions?

I LOVE kona solids - this is made using kona pepper and robins egg.
Do you have any quilting suggestions? I was going to do sprials on top of the squares but my expert friend didn't think that would look good and suggested stitch in the ditch for the lines and do a celtic knot thing in the white (black) space.... I don't want anything feathered or floral.

I think I might just save up and send this out to one of the board long armers

That is stunning! What size quilt will your kit be? I'd love to have something like that on my bed. (king size) Will you be selling the pattern? I also think some sort of celtic design would really be nice for the quilting.

You might be surprised at how great a circular pattern will look on this type of quilt-by the way, its beautiful.

I agree with your ideas! SiD is perfect! And whatever you choose to put in the setting squares! I think the quilting should be minimal and not detract from the pattern of the quilt top!
