I'm excited. I just finished my very first quilt block ever.

Yeah, I know - I have a long way to go. I'm using fabric I had in my stash and realized that using a pattern with horizontal lines may not be the best idea for a first project. It's going to be part of a table runner.

Anyway, just wanted to share.

Congrats on your first block! If you posted a picture we can't see it. :) Let us know if you have posting it. If you view your message the picture won't stick to it. (Hope that made sense. haha)

You did a very nice job!
In the beginning, it is about feeling successful and wanting to do more.
If intensity becomes too much of the process - - then, quilting will become a chore ...
Keep working on ... it can only get better from here! And, it is a good beginning, so the quilting world is better because you decided to participate in it.

What a beauty!!! To pick a striped design and to get them all so straight and nice on your first block...you are a born quilter!!! Good job :D :D :D I can't wait to see more!!!
