Ok, I like this one and that's it with messing with it. I added the real fabric though it can be hard to see without zooming in. A couple of them I didn't add because it shows up horribly like the stripped fabric for the border around the teddy bear. It would be in the actual quilt though.

I love your designs and am green with envy here. I have a couple of programs , but haven't learned how to use them yet. Now if we could just teach the programs how to sew, I could get on with my hand quilting, which is the best jpart for me. I guess I need to learn how to machine quilt, but just have an old singer right now which works fine for what I do. Keep the designs oming, they are fun to look at, even if I am totally jealous!

How big is this going to be? I looks wonderful! I love how much detail you have put into it!

I'm looking forward to seeing it done up myself. :)

It's 100" x 100". The blocks are simple and when you break it down into manageable parts there's five that only have 4 each, two that have 8 each, and then 12 of the very simple 4-patch. The most is the border blocks, 24 of those, but there are only 8 pieces in each. I think it's do-able. Then of course the teddy bear and that's put together in 8 rows.

I need to order the dark blue with the tiny beige dots. The place I ordered the rest of the fabric from didn't have that one and I found it at another site.

wow, is this going to be another gorgeous quilt-from-Pam!
I have a pattern in a book, can't remember the name right now, but it has teddy bears, and the patriotic stuff, too, and I have always loved it! Never could find the right fabric, but it would go to middle daughter, who, as of yet, has not started her family, lol. She loves Boyd's bears.
Can't wait to see how yours looks. I don't know where you get the patience to do all those intricate pieces, but then again, if I was really loving the project, think I could make myself do it, if I knew how!!
Got my new tools and cd, and ready to learn. woo hoo!!! :D

Not sure what you really mean, but I have EQ5 and when I wanted to make some stars in the sashing I found this lesson very helpful.

I like this version with the diagonal row of 4 patch blocks more than the previous one with the tinier triple row of 'checks.' Those tiny checks stole attention from the rest. This is going to be another stunning quilt!
