I made this bag and like it..fun to do but I do think I will make it wider when I do it again and would like the band at the top wider...you use a 1" wide metal tape measurer in the top to make it snap open and closed..I lengthed the handles and put more pockets inside
I will use this one for a small knitting bag and make another one in fabric I want for a purse and make the adjustments then

Yes you use the pieces of tape measure in the band at the top and it makes them snap open and closed like those little coin purses we had as kids...know what I mean?
