I made up half a dozen sandwiches or so and practiced on those before jumping in on this runner. My first sandwich looked like my sewing machine had become possessed. LoL I had some unattractive stitches here and there on the runner but overall it turned out better than I thought it would. I'd have to say you should just go ahead and give it a try. I bet you'll get the hang of it quickly. Here's to us both getting better at it!
You did a great job! Congrats! I too need to make and take the time to practice.

Well I practiced on about 6 or 7 little sandwiches first, so I guest technically this isn't my first free motion experience. It's the first "non-practice" item I've free motioned on though. :)
