Default My first piece of quilting

Well, as a newbie I am greatly inspired by all of your photos, so I thought I ought to share my first (and only) quilted piece so far, especially since it's seasonal! It's a Makower Advent Calendar that I finished this time last year, and my girls were really excited to unpack it again this year so I guess it's a hit! This is what got me well and truly hooked on hand quilting... hopefully I can share more in the future (have spent the whole of this year dressmaking, not quilting). This is my first upload too ,so I hope that it works!

Very nice! I love the hand quilting of the flames - makes that stand out. Beautiful job!

A wonderful first quilt - and a family heirloom in the making by the sounds of it!

Great job. That is one of the neatest advent calendars I have seen.

Very cute! Really nice that the girls were excited to unpack it this year. It must get super surprises in the pockets.
