Bump! Who would ever guess that this is your first pieced quilt? Pat yourself on the back ...... log cabin is an ambitious pattern for your first quilt ..... many of us (myself incleded) started out with something much simpler, such as Yellow Brick Road or Nine Patch.

Your quilt came out just beautiful. I love the log cabin pattern, you can do so much with it. Great Job!!! :thumbup:

I would say that you have a "quilter's eye". Your color choices are terrific and your quilt is just beautiful. I hope to make myself a log cabin next year with those red/cranberry colors and tan. Keep on quiltin"!!
