I think it stands for Big Quilt though I am not sure. Just search for BQ Maple Island quilts and you will find it!

wonderful quilt, great color and placement...the idea of minky for the back...was it a hard fabric to sew with? I have several beautiful pieces to use a backing for quilts, but am afraid to use it because it appears to stretch alot and I'm not the best person on the sewing machine/ any tips?
