I finally finished this. Please ignore the bed skirt! I also included a matching pair of pillow shams and pillow cases.

This is for my best friend's wedding later this year. She picked out the Luna Notte fabric line (Moda).

I've never made a braid before, it wasn't until I finished it that I realized the braids don't line up - but she still loves it and I'm still proud of it!

And I had to show off the back of the quilt. I quilted this on the Bernina with the BSR and NO frame. It took a ton of patience and muscle!

Beautiful! I love braids. The quilting looks great, I can only imagine the fun you had wrestling that through the machine. I did a double not long ago and it was tough, with far less quilting lines.

It's beautiful & you should be proud! Getting that done on the 440 must have been a challenge. I am trying to figure out machine quilting but getting everything perfectly smooth is my challenge. How do you manage it? I have the 440 also.
