Kudos on your first quilt. It really sets off your dining room and thanks for sharing the instructions. What a great quilt for beginners, intermediates and advanced students. Can't wait to see your next challenge.

I am intrigued by the idea of leaving a blank space when you sew strips on fabric. I make so many of that basic kind of block out of left-overs, but I never thought about letting the foundation become the lattice work in the quilt. Neat idea and a beautiful quilt.
