great choices, check out those thrift stores too- especially for those smaller scraps that do wonders for our stashes and usually good stuff because "sewist" don't throw it away

Love the fabrics you chose. The first time I went to Mary Jo's in North Carolina I just wandered around and looked. Didn't buy one thing! However went back the next day and broke the bank! LOL!

Hello fellow Minnesotans :) I was very overwhelmed the first time I went into a quilt shop near me too! I just stood there in one place and stared at everything!

Great color choices with the fabric!

I love your fabrics. I know how you felt in the LQS. I felt the same way the first time. Our is filled with wonderful and helpful people.

Don't feel bad .. 30 years later and I am still overwhelmed when I enter a new quilt shop! I told my husband, it's like when you guys find one of those old wooden floor hardware stores. So much in every nook and cranny ... it takes a half dozen trips just to see everything! Not to mention fondling that fabric!
