the log cabin scares me. can't wrap my lil brain around trying to sew the end of a strip and the side of the strip at the same time. I know-I'm scaring the folks from the boom 5 swap now. they are wondering, "If she can't do a log cabin, what mess is she creating with my fabric?" I'll buy a log cabin book.

My very first quilt was a log cabin as well. Great pattern to start out with. Very nice quilt, I especially like the borders.
