You did a great job! You will learn something from every one you make and will improve your skills as you go. All of us are still finding out things we didn't know at the beginning.

I think its very pretty and for a first quilt you sure chose a whole lot of blocks to start with. I see a beautiful quilt that many would be happy to say was their first. Good for you for jumping in and joining all of us here. Its seriously addicting. At least its not fattening as I have yet to figure out how to eat and quilt at the same time. Keep it up and we will look forward to your future quilts.

It's a beauty. Don't let self criticism/doubt stop you in your tracks. Just make quilts....each will be better than the last and when you look at your earlier ones, you will smile and think "Wow...this is good, but I've really come a long way".

Linda - I can empathise with how you feel about getting things right - I'm a bit (lol) of a perfectionist and have to struggle to let things pass. I'm a new quilter too and am amazed at how much my quilting is improving with practice and the help of the lovely ladies in my group. That said, if a part really niggles me, I redo it - even though others don't notice - but a lot I let go. Your quilt looks lovely and it's only you who might notice any imperfections.
