You did a great job. On your next quilt, keep it simple and maybe you can try something new to you. Make a table runner or something small and build up your confidence.

It is an uneven 9 patch block which is rotated. I found it in Quilter's World Dec 2012. It was called Snowdrift and done in blue, gray, and white. I left off the appliqués in the corners.

You should feel very proud of your first quilt. We learn with each one we make - it doesn't matter how many we make, we still learn something.
