That is such a great project. I'm glad that you "agreed" to participate. Was there a reason that the third grade class was selected to get quilts?

I believe the third grade was chosen because the daughter of one of the women involved with QFC taught one of the classes at the two schools for which the quilts were made. The schools are in a rather depressed area and the children get so little in the way of special gifts for themselves. The quilts were all personalized for each of the recipients and I know that so much love was poured into each little quilt that the children must feel it when they wrap themselves up in their very own blanket.
