Turned out fabulous.. Now every time you look at fabric you see Stack and Whack don't ya??? Great pattern..

Good for you!
To be fair, none of us alone can know everything, and we do tend to our preferences - - it is a human condition.
But, I think your quilt is just dandy, and the look is unique.
As I used to tell my children - - try it once, if you never do it again, you will know why (I did have the caviat that it must be logical, ethical, and moral, or the first time really isn't necessary <g>)
At any rate, I am glad that you followed your first choice in fabric and broadened the stack and whack horizons <wave>
