Default My first stippling/meandering - sorry don't know the difference

This is the first piece that I have done any FMQ'ing on. I did this appliqué several years ago but never had the courage to try quilting it. I have off and on tried practicing but just gave up every time. I finally decided the only way I'd learn is to just do it. So I finally got it out and got it finished - I'd say just in time for January - it goes with the winter weather.

I'm happy with it. Now to venture on to some of the larger things that need quilted. That will be my next post - questions about how to do it.

I don't know why my picture shows up sideways.

Looks great! The difference between stippling and meandering is just the scale. Stipple is smaller, but I don't know what specific size threshold you would cross when it turns to a meander!
