Default My first attempt at free motion quilting

It looks pretty rough, but I'm not unhappy with it. I really love my new sewing machine (the Brother PQ 1500S).

Thank you! It's very naive, but I figure it's a good start. I'll have to work my way up to some of the amazing work I've seen on this board. The other quilters here are my inspiration!

The quilt I'm working on is the one in my profile picture. It's made entirely of two-inch squares, so I'm drawing the hearts within four squares. They're not exact, but they look pretty good on the back. My biggest problem is getting distracted. Any time I glance up, the quilt jerks and I get a wayward stitch. It makes me laugh at myself. I think it will be fun to look back at this quilt a couple years from now. My hope is that I'll see great improvement.

Thank you all for being so nice to this newbie!
