Default My First Twister - UPDATE

I can't for the life of me figure out how to 'edit' my original posting to just add a couple more photos - - - making the Twister was a whole lot easier!
Anyway - a couple people asked/commented on the waste from this project; I'd say about a 1/4 loss - here are 2 photos
To answer the questions as to what I'm going to do with the finished blocks: a 3-block long wall hanging
AND, finally, thanks for all the great comments, suggestions and ideas. This is the BEST place for info, help, ideas, comments, suggestions and support!! Have a GR8 day.

I can see you scraps in a scrappy type quilt, mug rug, runner.....etc. Nicely done!

You could make some 4 patches with the leftovers. Twisters are so fun and I don't mind the leftovers. Your blocks are going to make a pretty wallhanging!

Even though they are not perfectly on the straight of grain, I cut 2 inch squares from the leftovers to use in random (scrappy) 4 patches. This was a leaders/enders challenge a few years ago on Quiltville, Bonnie Hunter's blog

I used my leftover scraps to make another border around my quilt separated with background fabric.
